The Jicara Macrame Hanging Planters are hand-carved from calabash fruit, natural to the area of Oaxaca, Mexico. The jicaras or calabashes, are first hollowed and then painted to begin the carving process. The carvings are inspired by the artisan's natural surroundings which explain the bird's and nature's carvings.  

The Macrame threads are hand braided in the Bay Area, California.

Details:

  • Color: Black with Cream Macrame Thread
  • The inside of the Jicara will have a plastic lining to protect the water from staining the jicara when watering your plants
  • Braid: You have the option of selecting a twist braid or flat braid

Dimensions:

  • Approximately 30" L (with macrame braid) x 4" H x 6.5-7.5" W
